Youth Program
Tapulaga Mana is N8PP's culturally grounded youth development and early intervention program designed for Pasifika and Māori high school students aged 11 to 17. Grounded in culture, identity, faith and community, the program provides a safe and supportive environment where young people can strengthen their sense of belonging, build confidence and develop the skills needed to make positive life choices during some of the most important years of their development. Through mentoring, cultural learning, leadership development and connection to positive role models, Tapulaga Mana supports students to stay engaged with education, strengthen their cultural identity and navigate the challenges of adolescence. The program seeks to reduce risk factors associated with disengagement and justice system involvement while empowering young people to become strong, resilient and connected members of their families, schools and communities.

Flow
Tapulaga Mana is delivered one day per week throughout the school term, providing young people with dedicated time to explore Pasifika culture, values, strengths and traditions. Through interactive workshops, discussions and cultural activities, participants develop a deeper understanding of who they are, where they come from and how culture shapes their identity, relationships, decision-making and worldview. The program creates opportunities for young people to build confidence, strengthen cultural connection and apply these learnings to everyday life..
Vision
To provide at risk or disengaged teens with an alternative to learning in mainstream classrooms and programs. the opportunity to explore culture and experience Pasifika ways of being from a fresh lens.
We want young people to know that there is power in knowing where you came from to better navigate their futures.
